Dreamshare offers two commercial products as shareware:
Gwendolyn is a database of more than 8000 given names plus extensive
information about them like meaning, origin, language and popularity, with powerful query
functions, for use either as a lexicon or as a tool for expecting
parents to find the perfect name for their baby.
Kunigunde is the sister program of Gwendolyn
with similar functionality, but with dialogs and name information completely
in German.
These programs are at the same time very innovative and feature-rich baby-naming software and given name lexicons with a wealth of reliable etymological information.
There is also some freeware, mostly addressing portable devices like smartphones and PDA's, with the data management software MoStacks probably being the most interesting one.
