Gwendolyn is a database with extensive information about 8000 given names from all over the world, including meaning, origin and popularity. It has two main uses: as a lexicon with reliable etymological information and powerful query functions, and as a tool for expecting parents to find the perfect name for their baby, with features especially designed to support the search for baby names that printed books or websites are not able to match.
